What are the prices to make custom socks?

July 19th, 2010 by admin No comments »

The prices to get custom socks made vary, depending on the type of sock (ankle, crew, or tube) and the number of pairs ordered.  Currently the minimum quantity is 50 pairs but there is a big price break for 100 pairs, which is why we usually recommend ordering 100 pairs minimum. Then, obviously, the more socks you order, the cheaper the price per sock will be.

Wanna know what our latest prices are? It’s easy, just enter your information in the box featured below “How much it costs”, at the bottom of our custom socks pages, and you will be redirected to our price page!

June 14th, 2010 by admin No comments »

As some of  already know, the last few weeks we were busy moving to a new building and setting up everything took more time than expected.

The good news is that we are ready to take new orders for custom socks again. I wanted to thank you all for your patience and we are looking forward to be making high quality custom socks for all of you …

Socks that wick moisture away

February 24th, 2010 by admin No comments »

Following a few questions I received, I wanted to confirm for all our clients and potential clients that, just like us, are into sports,  that our custom socks indeed wick moisture away. Our socks are technical socks that are made with 85% Ultra Wicking Acrylic, 10% Spadex and 5% Nylon (it’s like coolmax) so you are in good hands: you won’t get blisters contrary to socks made with cotton.

In case you are wondering, whatever custom sock model you order, you will get the same fabric and quality – and yes, they are durable, resistant and pretty comfortable as well (I obviously wear our socks almost everyday, whatever type of shoes I’m wearing).

Custom Hockey Socks Basics

February 16th, 2010 by admin No comments »

Hockey is one of these sports where apparel is important. Players should not only wear the colors of their team but their team logo should be showcased prominently as well. As a result, unlike sports that are less organized, the apparel used for hockey teams must follow some established guidelines and socks are no excehockey sockption.

So here are a few things you should know if you are planning to order some custom hockey socks:

  • The sock model should be tube, also known as knee-high (see picture on the right)
  • The color should be solid and there are usually a couple horizontal stripes toward the top of the sock
  • A team logo is often featured on the side of the sock, with the team name and/or motto
  • The socks should not be made out of cotton to avoid blisters – go for wick-moisture away fabric instead

Finally if you are ordering customized hockey socks for your team, it isn’t a bad idea to order a few extra pairs for fans as they like to wear their favorite team’s colors …

What is the minimum quantity for custom socks orders?

February 9th, 2010 by admin No comments »

Even though this is clearly stated on all our pages and in our e-mails, this is a question that comes back pretty often so I just wanted to make it clear for everybody:

The minimum quantity per order is 50 …

This means that we cannot take orders below that quantity  and there is, unfortunately, no exception.

By the way, all custom socks must 100% identical within the same order; so we can’t mix colors, designs or sizes within the same order. However, if you need several variations, you can still place several orders, one order for each variation you want.

What are custom tube socks for

February 8th, 2010 by admin No comments »

As you might have noticed tube socks are not your average sock and you might wonder what they are used for. Well, custom made tube socks are mostly based for 2 purposes:  sports and fashion.custom tube sock

When it comes to sports, they are used for team sports such as soccer, hockey, football, softball, baseball, lacrosse (along crew socks), volleyball, basketball (along crew socks) and rugby. As you can see it is quite an extensive list and regarding designs, it varies from one sport to the other; for example, ruby socks tend to feature stripe, softball socks have fun colors and logos while baseball socks are usually plain.

In terms of fashion, custom tube socks are mostly associated to the goth/punk look among girls, which means they are usually black with designs featuring skulls, etc … (you can see an example on the right).

About getting custom socks samples

February 2nd, 2010 by admin No comments »

Since we launched our site, about a year ago, we’ve been getting lots of requests for samples. Most of the time, people just email me a short message saying “send me samples” and then get upset when I ask them a few questions about what they are planning to order.

So even though we obviously send samples to potential clients who might want to check our products’ quality, we just ask you to provide us with some minimum information when contacting us:

  • how many pairs you would like to order (even if it’s a rough estimate).
  • what is your deadline to make sure we could deliver on time if you were ordering with us.
  • send us your logo to ensure we can do it

That’s about it! Also since we get lots of requests and orders, it sometimes happen that we are short in samples. So we will do our best to send you the model you are interested in, otherwise we will send you another model just so that you can check the quality of our material and designs. Also don’t forget to check our custom socks samples page where you can see pictures of some of the models we made for our clients …

Custom Cycling Socks Models

February 1st, 2010 by admin No comments »

For those of you who are part of a cycling team or are organizing cycling events (whether it’s rcustom cycling sock sampleoad, mountain biking, etc …) you might wonder what type of sock you should get as there is no strict rule for that sport.

Well, while you can rule out tube socks, unless you are following 1890’s fashion trends, these are mostly ankle socks – and sometimes crew socks – that are used as custom cycling socks

Please note this means that both regular ankle socks and shorter no-show socks are used as bike socks. To get an idea, you can check on the right an example of a custom cycling sock made for one of our clients.

What is the turn over time to get custom made socks?

January 29th, 2010 by admin No comments »

You have two options when it comes lead times:

  • If you choose standard delivery (UPS ground), it will take between 6 and 8 weeks. While it usually takes less than 8 weeks, we recommend to order 8 weeks before your event to make sure you get your socks ahead of your deadline.
  • If you choose express delivery, we will place your order ahead of other orders and you will get your custom made socks in only 3 to 4 weeks. This option is for customers that are in a rush and because it involves an additional fee,  we recommend placing you order early so that you can get standard delivery.
